Dredd is tracked down by the ferocious Klegghounds.
Ol’ Stoney Face
Dredd is facing a losing battle, with his forces being depleted by every battle and the guerrilla tactics not having much of an impact. He decides on a suicide attack to take out Cal himself – before being attacked by a Klegghound.
Friends of Dredd
Dredd’s forces are starting to feel despair, but somewhat grimly decide that Dredd’s dangerous plan to take out Cal is their only hope. There’s a good moment where a tutor congratulates himself on training Dredd on leadership – before he is quickly reminded that he also trained Cal.
The Big Meg (and Beyond)
Dredd’s forces are hiding out in an unused underground garage.
Bloodhounds apparently died out a 100 years ago.
The Alien Zoo
The Klegghounds are bad news – ferocious and relentless. They hunt and track by taste, not scent. They get a big bite of Dredd’s back-up clothes from his locker, and waste no time finding him. Cal likes them so much he wants to make them Judges.
Judge Grampus gets a little bit more of the spotlight here, leading the Klegghounds while Cal hangs back and commentates. I’d still like to get a bit more about the Kleggs than we’ve had so far.
Judge Peace dies after an attack.
A short, sharp issue, but I like the quick reversal of fortunes for Dredd as he finds the enemy at his door. The Klegghounds are energetically drawn by McMahon, and add to his now pretty impressive repertoire of nasty lizards!
